March 24 our school band went to the battle of the bands at WAS Nanjing, where we participated in a musical competition. There were 13 participating international schools from all over the nation. Our arrived was greeted by the organizers from the hosting school, the band was given practice time, and was taken on a school tour.
3月24日，我校乐队参加了于南京威雅学校举办的“乐队之战”音乐比赛。有来自全国各地的13个国际学校参加了此次活动。感谢主办校方的热情招待，不仅给予我们充足的练习时间，还带领同学们参观了校园。
While practicing the band was able to experience a new environment with different challenges and surprises along the way. The band was able to bond on a different level, and was able to provide support to each other. The band also had the opportunity of meeting other talented bands and students, sharing their own experiences, and interests.
在新环境练习有着别样的体验，充满惊喜。乐队成员在多方面完美配合，互相支持。与此同时，对于同学们，这也是一次与其他才华横溢的乐队交流彼此经验和兴趣的良好机会。
CISH’s Red Hot Chickens
Our school band went to the battle of the bands at WAS Nanjing
While performing the band was able to engage with a large audience, and display the culmination of their hard work and passion. The performance was composed of 3 songs; Basket Case (By Green Day), Rude (By Magic!), and Stay (By Kid Leroy, feat. Justin Bieber). The crowd enjoyed the performance as much as the band did. The band was blessed with this amazing opportunity, and experience. Hopefully the band will be able to participate in further editions of this event, and other musical events all over China.
在演出过程中，乐队与观众们开心互动，充分展现了他们的努力与热枕。演出包括以下三首歌曲：绿日乐队的《Basket Case》、魔术乐队的《Rude》、Kid Leroy和Justin Bieber合作曲目《Stay》。现场观众和乐队都十分享受这场演出。对于校乐队而言，有这样难得的机会和经历十分荣幸。我们也希望乐队今后能继续参加此项赛事，并有机会参加中国各地的其他音乐活动。
We look forward to playing in the future, for the school and to represent it as a whole. In the meantime we will be preparing for the future events that take place at CISH.
