暑气渐消的初秋时节，也是学校开学的日子。9月1日上午，北京中加学校的校领导和所有老师们提前到岗，迎接学生返校。对同学们而言，重新回到阔别两个月的校园，他们也满怀着对新学期的憧憬。
早上8:20，开学典礼在操场上举行。北京中加学校副董事长Andy Truong先生，执行校长田振周先生，党支部书记荆枝女士，北京通州华仁学校常务副校长姜天女士，加方副校长Monique le Roux女士，副校长张卫红女士，副校长马戈先生，副校长杜妍女士，副校长张刚先生，副校长李之峰先生，中衡班校长栗瑞峰女士等领导出席了本次典礼。开学典礼由高三（1）班褚子豪、刘映彤两位同学主持。
开学典礼的第一项活动是升国旗、奏国歌，全体师生肃立注目，所有同学歌声嘹亮。在典礼上，Andy Truong副董事长、教师代表姜飞翔老师，以及学生代表五年级（4）班杨植杰同学分别进行了发言。

同时，马戈副校长还公布了2022-2023学年第二学期“长城枫叶奖”获奖名单，主席台领导还为获奖同学颁发了奖状和奖杯。
