​Welcome to the video review of the 2022-2023 school year at the Canadian International School of Hefei – CISH! In this video, we will take a look back at some of the highlights of the year, including academic achievements, extracurricular activities, and community events.
With over 80 International teachers and 15 Mandarin teachers, we began our year successfully obtaining our International Baccalaureate reauthorization as the only Continuum IB School offering the PYP program, MYP program, and the Diploma program.  After this, we have spent the last few months working on our Cognia Accreditation. Next year we are looking at CIS accreditation. 

In sports in ACAMIS, we took home Silver Awards for both the Boys and Girls basketball. Our school had soccer teams, volleyball teams, badminton teams, and swim teams.   The Maple Dragons were strong.
This year we are still learning about and questioning OpenAI GPT (Generative Pre-trained Transformer). This is a family of language models developed by OpenAI, a research organization dedicated to advancing artificial intelligence in a safe and beneficial manner. The GPT models are based on a deep learning architecture called a transformer, which is designed to process sequential data such as natural language text.
Our 18 graduates received over 5.8 million in scholarships – almost doubling the amount we were awarded last year.  Our success rate in Grade 9 literacy from the ELPA test from Canada was over 84%. Our Drama productions in Middle High including Fame and Elementary Jungle Book were wonderful. Students participated in the CISH orchestra, Debate, Model UN, Math Competitions, English Competitions and Business Competitions. Students wonder Students raised money for the local animal shelter and they also helped raise funds for the Hurricane in Turkey. These demonstrate CISH has a big heart.  Overall, we hope this video review will give you a sense of the many accomplishments and exciting events that took place at CISH during the 2022-2023 school year. 合肥加拿大外籍人员子女学校是中蒙国际学校协会中的成员之一，今年我们的男子和女子篮球队也在和其他众多国际学校的比赛中获得了银奖。我们的枫叶龙足球队，排球队，羽毛球队和游泳队在专业教练的培养下也成为了非常具有竞争力的队伍。

今年我们依然在学习关于OpenAI GPT的相关信息并且保持批判性的思维对这款由OpenAI开发的语言模型家族。Open AI是一个致力于以安全和有益的方式推进人工智能的研究机构。GPT模型是基于一种称之为深度学习架构的转换器，该架构旨在处理自然语言文本等顺序数据。

我们的18名毕业生获得了超过580万的奖学金-几乎是上个学年的两倍。我们在加拿大ELPA考试中9年级读写能力的成功率超过了84%。我们中学部的戏剧作品《Fame》和小学部的戏剧作品《Jungle Book》也非常精彩。我们的学生参加了枫叶龙管弦乐队，辩论赛，模拟联合国竞赛，英语竞赛和商赛。学生们也非常富有爱心的为当地的流浪动物收容所筹集资金，同时也为土耳其的暴风骤雨自然灾害筹集资金，这些都证明了我们的CISH的学生具有人文关怀精神，也体现了我们IB教育的理念和初衷。
