Reading Buddies 

 

Reading partners are one of the highlights of CISH’s literacy. Last month, our MYP students visited the PYP classroom and read together. This is a great success. Our PYP students enjoy meeting with MYP students and reading stories together. MYP students find talking to our young students inspiring and enjoy interacting with them.

Fiction or non-fiction books were chosen by the MYP students at the appropriate level of the PYP student. Students across G1-5 were seen discussing the topics and vocabulary in the books with the older students. Apart from sharing in the enjoyment of reading the students had the opportunity to get to know each other. A similar collaborative activity is planned for Literacy week in March. We look forward to continued collaboration across the continuum.

读书会活动详情

 

伙伴阅读项目是合肥加拿大外籍人员子女学校训练学生读写能力的一大教学亮点。上个月我们MYP学生进入PYP教室一起阅读的学习项目圆满成功。这是一种非常难得的学习体验，MYP的学生和我们PYP的学生一起交谈可以相互激发学习积极性，不同年龄层的学生在一起学习也充满了乐趣。

书籍是由 MYP学生根据 PYP学生的相应阅读水平选择的小说或者非小说类刊物。通过这种学习方式我们可以看到G1-G5的学生与年长的学生讨论书中的主题和词汇。除了分享阅读的乐趣，学生们还有机会互相了解。我们计划在即将到来的三月份展开一系列类似的读写能力训练计划，期待这种合作学习的方式能够持续进行。
